Easy, Fun, Cheap Recipes Everyone Can Enjoy!

I think anyone who is married would appreciate some help with dinner! I know I struggle coming up with stuff to make, especially since I don't have an oven! In fact, even just any college student would appreciate some help, I remember never eating at home because I had NO idea what to eat, and didn't want to spend tons of money, or time! So here we go...
JOURDAN WILSONS RECIPE LIST!
1. A little twist on Spaghetti-(Jef Wilson)
Ingredients
  • Rice(brown or white)
  • Ground Beef(or any fish or meat)
  • Spaghetti Sauce(any brand)
  • Vegetables(we put onions, bell peppers, garlic, and habenoro peppers in)
Instructions-
Cook the rice, while it is cooking, start cutting your vegetables, and throw them on the stove, then do the ground beef. Once the vegetables are done, throw them  in with the beef, and add the pasta sauce, then the rice. Stir, and serve!! This is one of our favorites btw :)

2. Cowboy Girlscout Dinner-(Jef Wilson)
Ingredients
  • Ground Beef
  • Canned Corn
  • Potatoes
  • Onions
  • Carrots
  • Garlic
  • Seasoning(salt, pepper, garlic salt, onion powder)
Instructions- Slice potatoes into thin slices, pour olive oil in a pan, cover and cook(they will take longer than everything else, so remember to do those first). Cut your onions, and put them in with your ground beef. Once they are done cooking, put them in with the potatoes, which should almost be done. Turn the heat down so everything doesn't continue to overcook. Season to your liking, and add the corn. Let everything warm for a few minutes, and then you are free to serve. Enjoy with ketchup if you'd like, its delicious.

3. Loaded Apple Quesadillas-
Ingredients-
  • 1 apple
  • Cheese(cheddar, pepperjack)
  • Chicken
  • Vegetables(tomatoes, green chile, habenero)
  • Black beans
  • Tortillas
Instructions-
First you want to get your chicken cooking(You can cook it how you please). While that is cooking, you want to grate your cheese, and cut all your vegetables. Heat oven to 325. Lay out desired number of tortillas(remember that you are only making halfs). Put the ingredients on the tortilla, and put in the oven. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, then turn over and bake for another 5-8 minutes. You can serve it with sour cream, salsa, salad, or guacamole!
4. Pizza
Ingredients-
  • Cheese
  • Vegetables
  • Pizza Sauce(unless you want to make your own in which case, take tomato paste, olive oil, garlic, basil, and oregano, and mix away)
  • Dough-now you can find mixes for dough, buy your own, or make from scratch
Instructions-
Everyone knows how to make pizza.
5. Asparagus Pasta-
Ingredients-
  • 2 pounds of medium shrimp, peeled and de-veined( or chicken)
  • 1 dozen Asparagus(stemmed)
  • 1/3 olive oil
  • 1 diced onion
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • angel hair pasta
  • 3 cloves garlic
Instructions-
Pretty basic instructions, cook the noodles. While the noodles are cooking, also cook the shrimp(or chicken), and asparagus. Dice onions, and ready the garlic. Mix all together, and voila!! Dinner is served. It also goes well with Biscuits...if you want that recipe, here you go!

6. Biscuits-
Ingredients
  • 2 sifted flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons margarine or shortening
Instructions-
Heat oven to 375. Sift flour into bowl, then add baking powder and salt and sift again. Add the margarine/shortening. Work in with hands until it is all mixed. Slowly add the milk, while stirring. Work in with hands, if needed you can add more milk, until the consistency is dough like. Knead the dough for about 20 seconds, then pat down to about 1/3 inch think pieces. Using cookie cutter(circular), cut out, and place on baking sheet. Bake for about 12-15 minutes. You can coat it with butter or cinnamon sugar for a sweeter treat!
